What to know for tryouts
Our mission is to build a cohesive, competitive team with the highest performing 10-12 players we can for our 2025-26 season. 10-12 offers will be given for each team. In addition, 8-10 waitlist offers will be discussed with those families.
Each player offered a commitment letter, as mandated, will have 48 hours to decide what’s best for them. From there, we defer to our waitlist in numerical order based on tryout performance and team need. We continue down the waitlist until the team is complete.
Tryouts will be held at the Hidden Valley Boys and Girls Club: 1903 112th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004

Mandatory parent meeting will be held during the first 30 minutes of each age group tryout.
All families that register and attend tryouts will receive detailed team & season information via handout/email the evening of tryouts. All additional practice times, days, schedules, coaching, and paying & playing schedules will be readily available for you to review over the tryout weekend. Families are welcome to attend and watch the tryout process!
We will be giving you a tryout t-shirt. And, to ID you on the courts, will use a marathon marker for arm numbers.
Please Note:
All interested players MUST pre-register for tryouts.
There will only be one tryout per age group.
Tryouts will be limited to 36-48 players.
Walkups will NOT be allowed on the day of tryouts.
Tryout registration will be limited; we suggest you register early to ensure a spot.
Non-refundable tryout fee $50.00 due at time of registration.
What to know for
the season
Practice Days & Times
We expect all practices to be attended. Practices will be 3 days a week.
Practice locations will be calendared at The Overlake School or Hidden Valley Boys and Girls Club.

Observed Time Off
We expect all tournaments to be attended. Here are some good times to plan otherwise.
November Break: 11/26-11/29

We’re trying to think ahead about it as athletes all attend different schools.
Observed time off will come with non-ball trainings / Agility & Conditioning athletes will be expected to perform where ever they are. Individual trainings can be scheduled during this time.
Tournament Schedule
We always have to register for tournaments to get into them so hopefully we’ll get all the tournaments we want to compete in. And don’t worry, we’ll try to get a jump on hotels!
